These filters cartridges generally have both an active carbon to remove the odour and taste from the water and an anti scale component to prevent build up of the oxidising agent in the storage tank and around the outlet.

Certain models from certain manufacturers include dedicated filters which can be difficult or impossible to obtain in Australia and where we are unable to source an exact replacement we can offer an alternative filter cartridge which will do the same job.
In most cases, the alternative filter cartridges are cheaper than those supplied by the fridge manufacturer direct.
